The Japan Federation of Gerontological Societies

The Japan Geriatrics Society launched The Japan Federation of Gerontological Societies in 1959 as an association with the Japan Socio-Gerontological Society, after which, the Japan Society for Biomedical Gerontology, the Japanese Society of Gerodontology, the Japanese Psychogeriatric Society, the Japan Society of Care Management, and the Japan Academy of Gerontological Nursing have joined it, and The Japan Federation of Gerontological Societies now consists of seven societies.
